The answer to this is two-fold. On one hand, you don’t technically need an appointment — virtually we accept walk-in clients. On the other, booking an appointment for an urgent care visit can save you a ton of time. Most importantly, you can book appointments around the clock. That means that when it’s 9pm, the salon is closed, you can rest easy knowing Renai staff members should be available.

Vegan polishes are often made with plant-based ingredients, such as resins, clays, and waxes can be found in a variety of colors and finishes and are just as durable and long-wearing as traditional nail polish. Vegan nail polishes are a great choice for anyone who wants to avoid using animal products, as well as for those who are concerned about the environmental impact of traditional nail polish.
Topical nail strengtheners provide the nails with essential nourishment and shield the nail from damage.
They can help with weak nails caused by physical damage or due to changes in the body, like hormonal fluctuations or nutrition deficiencies. They provide a protective yet flexible film that helps to reinforce the nail plate
Dry, chapped cuticles are the most common problems around. Chemicals, the environment, cold weather, or simply picking at them due to stress can all contribute to this problem. Besides being unattractive, this can also lead to hangnail.
The greatest damage to cuticles simply comes from lack of attention. Most people don’t consider at-home maintenance important and figure that a trip to the salon will be the ultimate cure.
Here’s a few easy suggestions you might want try at home:
- Use gloves when washing dishes
- Apply lotion after bath or when skin is still damp
- Leave cuticle-oil by your night stand and apply nightly
- Salt scrubs with essential oils are also great if used regularly at home (included with every hot-oil manicure we offer).
- Parafin treatments for intensive skin penetration.
In comparison, Thai massage targets on joints and muscles and helps you stretch, while Vietnamese massage targets on deep tissue and pressure points to help you get rid of pain and stiffnesses and the way your body shuts off senses to external stimuli as it falls into deep comfort and peace.
Massage can help a range of injuries including sprains, strains, broken bones and muscles tears. Using a variety of massage techniques, massage can stretch out tightness and loosen scar tissue. Using massage as part of injury rehabilitation can increase healing rate and shorten recovery time.
Muscles that are massaged right away will experience a 20-40% chance of recovery. According to Physio UK.
It's not unusual to feel some soreness after a massage. This is due to a release of lactic acid in the muscles, but it doesn't last long. You may also have some discomfort during your massage. This depends on the area we're working on, any pre-existing pains, and whether the therapist is using too much pressure.
Our massage therapist is certified in several modalities and will help you enjoy complete relaxation and ensure your satisfaction.
All our therapists will ask you to remove clothing only as far as you feel comfortable. If you only want to undress to your underwear, that's fine.
The therapist will leave the room while you are undressing and will provide towels and blankets to cover you during the massage. There are some massages that work well if you want to remain clothed, so discuss this with our therapists.
Yes! A good massage therapist will check in with you during your massage to make sure the pressure is okay.
Be mindful that massage doesn't have to cause you pain to be effective. Some massage techniques are pretty gentle. But do speak up and ask your therapist if you'd like more or less pressure during your session.
Massage therapy is a great natural solution when you want relief from pain, but it can also be used as a preventive treatment too. Seeing your massage therapist regularly can help:
Lower cortisol and raise serotonin levels to calm and relax your body
Loosen tight muscles, which may increase blood flow, leading to lowering your blood pressure
Often, depending on what you are seeing your massage therapist for, they may use a different technique or massage modality.
When it comes to massage frequently asked questions, this is a common one. It's normal to fall asleep during a massage. You might be feeling stressed and sleep-deprived, so falling asleep is normal once you're in a relaxed state.
There's zero judgment from us if you snore. We're pleased you're relaxed enough to fall asleep, and we won’t mention it.
Drooling is also common, especially if you're on your front. Ask us for a tissue, and we'll be glad to grab one for you.
